Built in 1901 the building operated until 1992 as the Teller County Jail. Today the jail serves as a museum dedicated to the Outlaws and Lawmen of Colorado’s early years. Where many of the jail’s current visitors have reported hearing voices from the empty cell block and some even report seeing shadows move around.
Cost: (Call and ask) per participant for a session from 7pm to midnight.
All guest investigators must be 18 or over to participate in these events.

Participants will receive an overview of current techniques and equipment used for paranormal investigations and participate in an actual investigation for the paranormal.
You are encouraged to bring your hand carried personal recording equipment. Video cameras, digital recorders, still cameras, and a flashlight are all recommended. Dress should be casual and comfortable street clothing and tennis shoes or sneakers (soft sole shoes). Open toe shoes and high heels are not recommended. No pocket knifes or any other weapons are allowed. Use of alcohol or other drugs is strictly prohibited.
All participants proceed at their own risk and must sign a standard waiver releasing the City of Cripple Creek and M.P.P.I.R. from any liability.
